ABOUT ME

I found yoga in 2014 at a free yoga class. After just one class, I was hooked.  With time, I ended up attending classes at a studio, trying out different teachers, and became hooked on arm balances.  I practiced yoga for 6 years before taking my yoga teacher training.  I had built a strong foundation as a yoga practitioner before entertaining the idea of teaching others yoga.

In 2020, I took my 200-hour yoga teacher training and became a certified yoga teacher. I volunteered my time teaching young adults (girls and boys) in detention centers. During my training, I knew I wanted to teach yoga to other climbers and help them the way I have benefitted. 2021 is when I started to develop “Yoga for Climbers.” I hosted my first class in a park in Nashville, TN, and invited my climb-y friends and their friends to come.

Now I enjoy teaching yoga to athletes and various styles of classes. I love to keep my class on their toes and be sure to challenge them through a creative vinyasa.

Why should you join my classes?

I went from going through teacher training to develop my own practice to quickly changing my mind to teach others. I have had many teachers through my years of practice mold and shape my yoga practice and my life.

My purpose for teaching is to create a challenging and supportive space. My hope is that my students develop not only their physical practice but their mindfulness as well. With inner peace and the physical practice, yoga changes your life, inside and out.
